We’re Hiring: Junior PHP Developer (Yii2)

We’re currently developing and maintaining a web application built with PHP (Yii2 Framework), and we’re expanding our team with a Junior Developer who has worked with PHP on real projects (even at a basic/intermediate level) and is eager to grow professionally within a real-world product.

We’re looking for someone with strong motivation, a willingness to learn, and a creative mindset — someone who doesn’t just implement features, but also contributes ideas to make the app cleaner, more user-friendly, and visually better.

Your role will focus on:

1-Building new backend features (PHP/Yii2)-

2-Maintaining and improving existing code

3-Working with databases (SQL/MySQL) for queries, tables, and application logic

4-Collaborating on the front-end where JS/CSS are important for styling and UI updates

5-Suggesting ideas to improve UI/UX and overall user flows

What we’re looking for:

🔹 Solid knowledge of PHP (OOP, backend logic)

🔹 Experience with SQL / MySQL and databases

🔹 Basics of HTML/CSS/JavaScript (especially for UI tweaks and improvements)

🔹 Strong willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously improve

🔹 Creativity and initiative to bring ideas into the app’s development and design

Nice to have:

🔹Experience with Yii2 (or a similar framework)

🔹Basic Git knowledge

 🔹Basic understanding of REST APIs

🔹 Basic Italian (a plus)
